I didn't use a tripod under low light conditions and if you look at the larger view you will notice a lot of noise in the sky.
I also could have cropped it like this to give the photo a little different perspective.

First of all if your happy with the outcome of your photo,that's the most important thing.I will offer advice but remember it's just my opinion.The foreground is rather dark/shaded too much,forcing the flash would have helped ,or keeping the sun to your back so everything is lit evenly in the forest is rather important.I actually prefer shooting in the woods on a cloudy day or sunrise sunset for interesting colours,thus no shadows or bright sky.
Your ISO was at 100 when you took the photo,use manual setting and try setting it at a higher number,will make it brighter.
